Scanner - C-Frame Scanner
When you need a transmission sensor, but don't need to measure a large web, NDC Infrared Engineering has a solution for you. The MiniTrak-C is a single beam scanner with a C-beam traversing across the web. This allows up to two trasmission or reflective sensors to make their measurements while maintaining the appropriate sensor registration, giving you a larger variety of sensor options, without the cost of a dual beam scanner.

    The AccuTrak O-frame scanner provides industry-leading scanning precision for the best cross-web profiling performance. This is coupled with an extremely reliable drive and rail system, which is easily accessible in the rare event that maintenance is required.

    This high level of cross-web scanning precision is achieved through a combination of box-beam construction, which provides needed stiffness, and a proprietary rail-alignment system that makes the scanning rails perfectly equidistant at any point along the beam. To further enhance performance, a novel carriage system, utilizing engineering polymer wheels rather than traditional linear bearings, provides for the tightest scanning tolerances and a rail system that can never be scored.

    The scanner is available in widths from 30" (0.75m) to 392" (10m)

    Scanner - O-Frame Scanner for Small Webs

    The MiniTrak-O frame is designed for small webs (2.2 meters or less) scanning up to two transmission or single sided sensors. With its small footprint, it can fit into many places that other scanners cannot. It's also designed for high reliability, easy service access, and long life.

    Blown Film Rotary
    Scanner - Blown Film Rotary Scanner
    The Blown Film Rotary scanner is used to significantly improve the feedback time for the gauging system to generate a polar plot of the bubble profile. Without this scanner, the system must wait for the device being used to randomize profile variation (e.g. oscillating die or haul-off) to complete one rotation before an update can occur, which can take several minutes, versus a scan per minute (dependent on bubble diameter) with the rotary scanner.

    The rotary scanner is designed to be installed below the collapsers and above the frost line to insure the best quality of measurement possible. Several diameter rotary scanners are available to match the needs of the individual blown film process.

    Scanner - Pipe Rotary Scanner
    The Pipe Rotary scanner is designed to work with the 4100TC Pipe measurement and control system and a standard Gamma Backscatter (GBS) probe. The scanner includes a unique, patented sensor mount that keeps the probe perpendicular to the pipe surface for the most accurate measurement possible. Three scanner sizes are available, to handle pipe diameters up to 10" (254 mm), 20" (508mm), and 40" (1016 mm), respectively.

    MiniTrak-S
    Scanner - Single Beam Scanner
    When it comes to making accurate scanners capable of installation into the harshest environments, NDC Infrared Engineering excels. With its new MiniTrak scanning family, we continue this trend.

    The MiniTrak-S Single Beam Scanner is available for web widths as large as 6.1 meters, while still maintaining the sensor plateau required for accurate measurement. With it's small scanner footprint, it can be placed where other scanners cannot go. In addition, up to two sensors can be mounted in any orientation necessary for your application.
