Honeywell Sensotec manufactures a wide range of tension, compression, and universal measurement load cells. These load cells are manufactured as standard, modified standard, and custom sensors to provide fast delivery. Many units can ship from our extensive stocking program within 24 hours. Our load cell is industrially rugged and highly reliable because of their stainless steel construction. We also offer load cells made of carbon steel and aluminum where these metals are needed to do the job.

Honeywell Sensotec load cells use bonded foil and semiconductor so that your sensor will provide the best measurement possible given the conditions encountered in your application. These units measure a wide range of force; 25 grams to 3,000,000 lbs. Honeywell load cells also offer the highest levels of accuracy and commercially available today; 0.05% to 0.5% F.S. while coping with temperatures from -60¼F up to 320¼F. Our custom transducers capable of handling temperatures above, as well as below, this temperature range.

Honeywell Sensotec's range of outputs are as varied as any manufacturer in the world and they include 1.5 mV/V, 2 mV/V, 15 mV/V, 20 mV/V, and 1 mV/V/gm. We can also provide "on-board" amplification amplification (0-5 V or 4-20 mA) and digital outputs such as RS-232 and RS-485.

Honeywell Sensotec also offers a wide range of load cell sizes including miniature load cells along with an extensive list of connector types including submersible, underwater cable connections.

The
load cell calibration software is designed to make life easier when calibrating your own load cells. The software accepts two inputs: the first is output from the load cell under test, and the second is the load being applied to the cell either entered manually when a deadweight is applied or through use of a reference load cell. Upon completiion of the loading cycle, the software then calculates the linearity, hysteresis and provides least squares fit and polynomial curve fit information on the cell uner test and prints a calibration certicificate. The software is designed to work with excitation and signal conditioning equipment such as the Sensotec SC2000 high accuracy signal conditioner. Archiving and data storage functions are standard so that information on previously calibrated load clels can be retrieved.

Subminiature Size
Model 13 In capacities from 50 grams to 10,000 pounds, our miniature and subminiature load cells come in both tension and compression models with accuracies to 0.1%. At sizes down to 0.13 inch high by 0.5 inch diameter, they can be incorporated into existing machines or any space-restricted area. Rugged all-welded construction ensures reliable operation in demanding applications. Standard operating temperature range is -65 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperature compensation options are available. Standard mV/V or amplified high-level outputs are available.
