ELF™ Force Measurement System

Wireless ELF™ System for Freedom in Force Sensing!

Since its debut in the summer of 2006, the Wireless ELF TM System has been widely praised as one of the most exciting new sensor products in the industry. In addition to inclusion in Sensors Magazine's Top 50 Products of 2006 and receiving an honorable mention at Sensors Expo 2006, Wireless ELF is taking the concept of a turnkey, user-friendly force measurement system to a new level.
Wireless ELF enables your computer to capture and store force data wirelessly from distances of up to 200 feet. This revolutionary system offers greater flexibility for countless applications, including sports equipment testing, safety assessment, medical procedures, industrial R&D, and much more.

User Friendly

The ELF hardware is simple to install. The standard ELF System handle connects to your USB port (see ELF computer requirements). The Wireless ELF Hub connects to your USB port, quickly turning your computer into a force measurement instrument.

The ELF force measurement system exclusively utilizes FlexiForce sensors. These sensors have a patented interconnect to our ELF hardware. The combination of superior sensor performance, electronics and software ensures optimal system accuracy and performance. The FlexiForce sensor is an ultra-thin (0.008"), flexible printed circuit. The system comes complete with three sensors in various force ranges: low (0 - 25 lbs; 111 N), medium (0 - 150 lbs; 667 N), and high (0 -1000 lbs; 4450 N). Forces less than 0.044 lb (20 g; 0.196 N) up to 1000 lbs (454 kg; 4450 N) can be covered with the ELF system.

Intuitive Software

ELf Multi-handle screen display-advanced feature. Available upon request.
The WindowsTM-compatible ELF software displays a real-time graphical representation of the force on the sensor, and lets you record this information to review and analyze later.

Standard features include:

  • Adjustable gain (lets you fine-tune the desired force range)
  • Real-time graphic displays in strip chart, column graph, or digital readout
  • Data retrieval and playback
  • Ability to store and retrieve calibration files
  • Internal triggering
  • User-selected recording speeds from
10 Hz up to 200 Hz
