The BASIC Stamp® module is commonly used in industrial applications requiring high-voltage control, closed-loop PID systems and environments with vibration and wide temperature ranges. The reliability of a BASIC Stamp microcontroller in an industrial use depends on the redundancy designed into the system, the engineering approval standards applied to the design, and the tests conducted to ensure the code was properly debugged. |

The BASIC Stamp 2 module (BS2-IC) is the single most popular BASIC Stamp module. Widely used in educational, hobby, and industrial applications. There is also an industrial version of the BS2. The BASIC Stamp 1 module (BS1-IC) is equivalent to the Rev. D except it is packaged in a 14-pin SIP module. Purchase the BS1 Serial Adapter so you may program the BS1-IC in the Windows environment. The BASIC Stamp Rev. Dx (27100) is the original BASIC Stamp, operating in many custom projects since its introduction in 1992. The Javelin Stamp™ module is programmed in a subset of Sun Microsystems Java language. Advanced features, lots of memory, and the ability to run multi background tasks are just a few of the advantages

The PRGPAL is an intelligent peripheral that digitizes the signal of piezo resistive bridged type sensors for connection to the BASIC Stamp. The Stamp PLC is a Program Logic Controller that is perfectly sized (and priced) for automating small machines. Specified by Parallax, Inc. the Stamp PLC was designed by Lawicel HB of Sweden. Parallax and Lawicel have combined their expertise to deliver a PLC that represents the next stage of evolution in the small-scale PLC market. A 24-pin BASIC Stamp module or Javelin Stamp™ module is required (sold separately). BASIC Stamp 2 Industrial Module - Our industrial version of the BASIC Stamp 2 module has an extended temperature range of -40 C to +85 C (-40 F to +185 F). This module normally has no shortage of program space or I/O pins. Serial PC interface provides enhanced debug features. BS2 16-relay Industrial I/O Board - This board was designed for use in industrial machinery as a main controller, or as a controller to add features to a machine. This board will support all 24-pin BASIC Stamp modules such as the BS2, BS2e, BS2sx, and the BS2p24. This board may be used to control industrial processes, or equipment functions, without having to learn ladder logic. BS2p40 32-relay Industrial I/O Board - The BSIO32ex module was designed for use in Industrial Machinery as a main controller, or as a controller to add features to a machine. Standard 24-volt DC power is used for both for input sensor and output load devices. This board will support only the BASIC Stamp BS2p40. This board may be used to control Industrial Processes, or equipment functions, without having to learn ladder logic. Stamp Controller Interface Board - Allows the BASIC Stamp microcontroller to connect directly to industrial type digital I/O control boards produced by Opto22, Grayhill, Allen-Bradley, and others that accept 0-5 VDC voltage control levels. These optically isolated modules are ideal for interfacing microcontrollers to the real world, and are more reliable by providing proper isolation. Opto22 8-Channel I/O Module Rack -The Stamp Controller Interface connects directly to the Opto 22 8-channel I/O mounting rack for an easy high-current switching solution. The Opto 22 I/O board accommodates up to eight I/O modules. The board uses a 5 VDC power supply from the Stamp CI for control power. The BS2-IC can turn on up to 3 modules simultaneously.
