Established in 1972 in Osaka, Japan,
M-SYSTEM has been writing a unique history as a manufacturer specializing in
"INTERFACE" equipment: high-quality electronic equipment which
meets the diverse requirements for signal conditioners, limit alarms,
power transducers, remote I/O devices, lightning surge protectors and
other unique process control equipment, which are needed to "INTERFACE"
in the field of process and factory automation. |

M-System’s PC Recorder
Software, MSR128LV and MSR128LS (MSR128-Light), is a
Windows-PC-based software program which connects to economical
I/O modules such as models RZMS, R1M and R2M series for DC mV,
mA, thermocouple, RTD/potentiometer inputs and discrete I/Os.
Compared to the popular PC Recorder software, MSR128, the
MSR128-Light is designed to operate on a PC of relatively low
performance, even a Windows 98 PC, though certain functions of
the MSR128 which require the PC’s high performance, are not
available.

M-System’s Model RZMS-U9 is a
high performance 12-point universal input module designed for
remote I/O and data acquisition applications. The Modbus RTU
protocol enables interfacing with popular HMI/SCADA software
packages including
M-System’s popular PC Recorder software, MSRPAC-2004. It is also
suitable for use with M-System’s Paperless Recording System,
73ET, 74ET and 75ET Series.
A 500 Vpeak channel-to-channel isolation plus isolation between
external trigger input, communication ports, power and alarm
contact output is provided. Though the withstand voltage is
limited between the I/O and the power input, there will be no
dielectric breakdown between the I/O (with or without grounding)
and other terminals even when 2000 Vac is applied across FG and
the power input if the earth terminal is adequately grounded.
The RZMS-U9 features superb noise filtering capabilities for
50/60 Hz line. NMNR ratio to the line frequency and its harmonic
contents can be optimized by setting the rear DIP switch. Each
input circuit has a CR filter of sufficient large time constant
so that there will be little effect of line noise such as 500
mVac superposed on a thermocouple or ±60 mV input.
The
PC Configurator software RZMSCFG features CJC to individual
channels, programmable first order lag filter, selectable
burnout for T/C and RTD input. Others include Modbus
communication parameter, hardware information, continuous input
monitoring, zero and span trimming, leadwire resistance
compensation for RTD input, and etc.
Combining the RZMS-U9 with M-System’s new PC Recorder software
MSR128-Light offers the user the ability to trend, log and
analyze industry standard measurements at a fraction of the cost
of a chart recorder. |
