The MSL DataWeb 4000 series brings a flexible new approach to remote asset monitoring and data acquisition, combining advanced communication methods and accurate measurement into a highly affordable package requiring minimum set up. 

The DataWeb unit is DIN rail mounted unit providing eight analog channels (supporting voltage, current, resistance, PT100 and thermocouple sensors) and eight digital channels in a rugged and compact unit. 

Data is transferred using an Ethernet network, the Internet or via the integral RS232 port and an additional modem. 
Data can be viewed in real-time or as historic CSV files which can be imported into other WindowsTM applications such as Excel and Word. 
Communication with DataWeb only requires Internet Explorer 5. 0 or higher on the client PC, minimising user software costs.  This also allows simultaneous access to multiple users, enabling plant data to be viewed in any location.
